School Meals

WE ARE A NUT-FREE SCHOOL

No nuts or nut products in school

Our school meals are provided by Apetito, part of the Wiltshire Farm Foods Group.

Nutritionally-balanced meals are key to supporting childrens growth. Our varied, healthy meal options also encourage children to try new meals with exciting flavours – developing their taste palate as a result.

Our school meals are developed by Apetito's experienced, talented team of chefs, to ensure all meals offered are tasty and nutritious.

We have regular themed lunches including:

Meat Free Mondays, Diwali lunch, WW2 lunch, Bonfire Night, Hawaiian Luau.

All school lunches MUST be prebooked on Arbor at least 3 days in advance. Parents can advance book for a whole term.

 Pupil lunches currently cost £3.00

Lunch menu choices are available when booking on the Arbor App

All children in Foundation and Years 1 and 2 (Key Stage 1) can have free school meals.

To continue receiving free school meals from Year 3 upwards, families need to be in receipt of the following:

  • Income Support
  • Job Seekers Allowance
  • Child Tax Credit.

Even if you are eligible but you do not want your child to have a free school meal, it is worth applying as the school receives funding based on the numbers of Free School Meal places and this directly impacts on the service we are able to offer.

If you think you meet the free school meals eligibility criteria, please call CBC on 0300 300 8306. When you call to apply for free school meals, please have the following information ready:

  • National Insurance numbers and dates of birth for you and your partner
  • Dates of birth for your children
  • If you receive support from the National Asylum Support Service, your NASS number.
